Have a Little Faith

Faith, Attitude, Action—these have been my three steps to success. Sometimes, depending upon the audience I’m speaking to I reframe my talk to say, Alignment, Attitude, and Action, and still other times I talk about Authenticity, Attitude, and Action. Some have suggested that I shy away from using the word faith because God is such a touchy subject and some folks might get turned off.

Really? What’s up with society?

Perhaps we need a little faith to know that no matter what, everything will be all right. Maybe we need a little faith to know we are on the right track! And just maybe we need a little faith in something that is bigger than ourselves. Just as a mother or father holds a frightened child, isn’t it okay to believe that God/spirit/faith/light/love is holding us in the palm of his/her hand?

At times, we all want to be comforted, nurtured, guided, and empowered and if we don’t have folks in our lives to constantly provide these things to us, isn’t it okay to get these essential things from another source, even if that source is outside ourselves?

I don’t think we have to throw our faith into the faces of others, for actions do speak louder than words; however, I think if we come from trust, love, and faith others will come to know that we are living by faith—something bigger than us.

As I say in my book, Soaring into Greatness, A Blind Woman’s Vision to Live her Dreams and Fly, or perhaps this is in my upcoming book (titled to be determined), “Faith is when we love unconditionally, walk without worry, trust when we are afraid, let go, relax, breathe, and let God do God’s magic. Faith is believing without seeing, knowing that everything is in divine order, appreciating the good in all things and in all people, and giving gratitude for the abundance which flows to us, through us, and from us at all times.”

So today, take a little faith forward, trust that all is well, believe that all things are possible, and know everything and you are exactly where you are supposed to be. This is how you change the way you see and this is how you change the way you live!
