An image of a statue of Mother Mary. She is looking up while she stands with her palms pressed together, she looks peaceful and full of gratitude. This is surrounded by two mirrored photos of a statue of Mother Mary but her expression is different, her head is bowed, she looks trusting, and her palms are open as she is ready to receive her blessings

I Have Enough!

I have enough! Enough time to get what I want to accomplish today done! Enough money to pay bills, buy food, go out to lunch, and support myself. Enough energy to carry out my plans and activities! Enough sleep so I feel rested! Enough peace that I feel one with God and the world. Enough support from friends and loved ones that I never feel alone! Enough creativity that I feel enthusiastic about life! I have enough! Actually, I have more than enough! My cup runs over with everything I need. I am blessed.

How often do we wake up in the morning already thinking about what we don’t have enough of? Not enough sleep. Not enough time. Not enough money. Not enough energy to accomplish everything on our never-ending to-do lists. Good grief! We haven’t even gotten out of bed, and we’ve already decided we don’t have enough! The word from the “Daily Word” for September 2, 2026, was “prosperity”, reminding me that I am one with God and, as such, God’s never-ending prosperity is always mine. God’s love, energy, wisdom, power, presence, and faith are constantly flowing my way.

Prosperity isn’t just about money. It’s about the richness of life itself. The people who love us. The opportunities to learn and grow. The simple pleasures of sharing a meal with a friend, enjoying a beautiful day, or laughing at something totally ridiculous. Yet how easily we lose sight of that abundance when negative thinking takes over!

It’s like a river clogged with logs. One negative thought leads to another, and before long, we’ve created a logjam of worry, frustration, resentment, and fear. Some logs become deeply embedded in the riverbed. Others get so tangled together that they seem impossible to separate. And just when we think things couldn’t get any worse, another log comes floating downstream! Before long, the river of abundance that once flowed freely through our lives has become a muddy, stagnant mess. So, how do we clean out our rivers of muck and allow prosperity to flow freely again?

Over the years, I’ve discovered that living a life of abundance involves three important ingredients: Alignment, Attitude, and Action.

  • Alignment. Am I aligned with the spiritual presence and power within me? Am I allowing God’s love, wisdom, and prosperity to flow freely through my life?
  • Attitude. What thoughts and beliefs am I holding onto? Are they helping me move forward, or keeping me stuck?
  • Action. What can I do today to remove just one of those logs? Perhaps it’s letting go of resentment, replacing a fearful thought with one of faith, forgiving someone, reaching out to a friend, doing something kind for another person, or simply appreciating the blessings already surrounding me.

This doesn’t mean life’s challenges magically disappear. Bills still need to be paid, problems solved, and unexpected twists and turns navigated. What changes is how we choose to meet those challenges. We don’t have to clear the entire river in one day. Sometimes moving just one log is enough to get the water flowing again. And as we release those obstacles, we discover that positivity, abundance, faith, joy, love, peace, and kindness can once again flow freely to and through us. Eventually, instead of struggling against the current, we learn to flow with it. And when we do, we change the way we see and we change the way we live.

We are born to fly. Keep Soaring, One wing beat at a time!
