Keep Going, Never Give Up
As I sat down to journal this morning and write my blog for the week, I wondered whether I should write about typical year-end issues like setting goals, shoulds versus wants or Evolving (versus making Resolutions)—topics I’ve covered in the past? Or should I give the names of books I’ve read in 2022 to inspire you?
Then, the phrase popped into my mind, “Keep Going! Put one foot in front of the other! Never give up!”
Of course, these are words I speak to myself to encourage my mind and soul to continue up my own mountain’s path.
How do we/I keep going when there’s no obvious direction?
How do we/I stay committed?
How do we/I walk the walk and talk the talk when we’re/I’m not sure if anyone is listening?
For me, two things come to mind.
I need to follow my passion and I need to keep connected to God. I need to keep writing in my journal and posting blogs and I need to make time to pray, meditate, and connect to God daily.
The deal is, I don’t have to have the answers. I don’t have to know the “how.” I just have to keep on keeping on knowing, hoping, praying, and believing that everything has been and will always be in divine order.
My job is to keep peace, love unconditionally, and be happy, and all the rest will fall into place.
What about you?
What brings you peace, love, and joy?
As we begin the new year, as you set intentions for yourself on how you’d like to evolve in 2023, I challenge you to spend some time and look at how you are providing love to yourself and others. Are you at peace? If not, what would bring you peace? And, are you happy? And again, if not, what would bring you joy? After answering these questions, you’ll find your direction up your own mountain’s path and in doing so, you’ll find your purpose and your own way on how to keep going. No matter what, never give up! Keep going! Life is about our journey. Keep on putting one foot in front of the other, for in doing so, you will change the way you see and you will change the way you live!
And, just because I feel called to do so, here are the top great books I’ve read in 2022. I get a small commission from any purchases made through these affiliate links at no cost to you. Enjoy!
